I chose to do a vocational school. We received an offer at one point: a few representatives came and presented us with the profiles, the fact that there would be a scholarship for three years, then direct employment. And I liked that idea. The headmistress and my father guided me, and I decided. Being also a boy who grew up in the countryside, they knew I was also a worker. I entered, took an exam and was admitted among the 60 candidates.
Immediately after I finished high school, in 1999, I got a job as an electrician in the Media PRO studios in Bucharest. Because I finished an electric profile, the only possibility was to get a job as an electrician. My dad has been pointing me in that direction ever since I was a high schooler, to choose to become an electrician.
I didn't realize which way to take it until high school. Initially, I chose economic high school and did performance sports for a long time.
One of the voices of the evening was also Iasmina împușcatu, a student at the Technological High School "Cezar Nicolau", Brănești, which we discovered within the debate club and who captivated us from the first by the way she talks about the things she believes in.
This booklet was created to inspire big and small people with true stories about those who can be our friends, neighbors, colleagues or even family. We invite you to discover the stories of the successful people from five localities of Ilfov County: Brănești, Buftea, Pantelimon, Sintești-Vidra, Tunari.
A full cinema hall and stories of how we can become the best versions of ourselves. That happened today, when almost 300 people gathered to enjoy a movie in the afternoon.
It was the day when we got back on stage at The Fool, this time with the theatrical performances that our partner schools in Ilfov County worked on for a few months.
Today we celebrated the International Day of Tolerance... #together. Along with 51 children from the five partner schools in Ilfov County, we gathered at The Fool (Bucharest) and each participant had the chance to talk about what tolerance meant to them.
On day 5 at the the Paper Mill we learned the stories of the oldest trees, we learned how many varieties of trees there are and how each one differentiates itself, but also how to figure out how old a tree is. Then, from pieces of fir wood, we created our first mini-fountains.
