The month of January was (also) about diversity, inclusion and pieces of Roma history... for "Cezar Nicolau" Technological High School. We entered the students' classes and played, we talked about labels, stereotypes and prejudices, but also about our identities and the advantages and disadvantages that come with them, and in the end we tried to put ourselves a little in the shoes of others... all under the umbrella of intercultural camps.
The aim of the interculturality camp was the accumulation of information about the history of the Roma (slavery, disenslavement, the Holocaust, the communist period), the analysis of information about methods, techniques and tools to combat/react in situations of discrimination, but also the organization of debates and creative games in which to emphasize diversity, discrimination or racism.
