On August 31st, the closing conference of the project "Capacitating and Empowering of Roma through Lobby and Action" took place.
On August 12th, 2022, in Unirea commune (Brăila County) took place the second advocacy action, organized by the members of the newly established non-governmental organizations, within the project "Capacitating and Empowering of Roma through Lobby and Action".
On July 28th, an exchange of experience took place in Bucharest, at the headquarters of the E-Romnija Organization, between the members of the newly established organizations from Calarasi County (Curcani, Mănăstirea, Chirnogi, Ulmeni), but also the members of the Center for Education and Human Rights Association.
On August 2nd, 1944 (just 78 years ago), in the concentration camp at Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the approximately 3000 Roma left alive were exterminated in gas chambers.
