In order for local initiative groups to become actors of change at the community level, the project will support the formalization of local initiative groups in NGOs. Experts will be hired to support the process of setting up NGOs by correctly informing the representatives of the groups about the documents they have to make (applications, statements, account, etc.) and about the path that these documents must follow. Also, the representatives of the local groups will be informed about the advantages of formalizing in NGOs and about the administrative aspects that they will have to accomplish.

Each of the 3 partners (Impreuna Agency, Sastipen, ACEDO) will support the establishment of NGOs in the localities where they are implementing the community development process.

UPDATE:

On the 6th of June, in Brăila County, a series of events took place that marked the establishment of two new NGOs: the Community Development Association "Galbenu" and the Association for Community Development "Vișani".

The establishment of the two associations was marked by a series of events, along with the children from the two localities: over 100 children participated in extracurricular activities, including:

 football (each team receiving sports equipment);

 PowerPoint presentation about the history and culture of the Roma;

 Romanian and Roma folk dances (each dance ensemble receiving specific traditional costumes).

The two established NGOs will act for socio-cultural, economic and educational purposes for the development of Roma communities.

Also, in the commune of Berteştii de Jos, Brăila County, the Community Development Association "Berteştii de Jos" was founded. Therefore, for three days, a series of activities with the children took place in the commune, through which to mark its establishment.

The activities, carried out in partnership with the Secondary School, aimed to promote diversity among young people, interculturality and inclusion. These included:

 "Together for a healthy environment";

 "Song for all";

 "Football without prejudices".

At the same time, on June 22nd, the first event carried out by the Community Development Association "Unirea-Valea Hempii" took place, an organization founded within this project, whose mission is to act for the benefit of Roma communities.

Thus, over 20 children participated in the first extracurricular activity organized in partnership with the city hall of Unirea: a football game, for which each team received sports equipment. This event was also attended by the parents of the students, who received a series of information about the activities carried out within this project, but also information on respect for human rights, discrimination and the importance of education in the lives of young people.
