“Împreună” podcast: Iulian Paraschiv – We got to ethnicize poverty

Iulian Paraschiv is part of the Roma Party and the president of the National Agency for Roma. We talked to Iulian on episode #30 of the podcast "Împreună" about community mobilization, civic consciousness and stigma.

"We need schools in Romania, for example, to talk about how the Roma have contributed to the unification of our country," iulian says. "We need to present heroes, we need to present role models from the community."

Iulian believes that the most important thing is to work in the community, to go to the local level, to see the problems within the communities, to listen to the people and to get closer to them.
