„Împreună” Agency for Community Development, the Policy Center for Roma and Minorities and the Resources Center for Public Participation organize the National Round Table – The position of the local communities regarding the access to water and sanitation.
The main goal of the event is to gather the main stakeholders in order to identify a series of clear and sustainable answers regarding the solving the problems and challenges that local communities encounter in accessing water and sanitation.
Also, there will take place debated upon the current impact of the financing programs in this field, the Good Practice Guides, learned lessons among the preview programs focused on financing projects regarding water and sanitation access, finding concrete solutions in order so solver the issues regarding this type of access, especially for the disadvantaged groups, as poor persons and isolated Roma communities.
The event will take place at the “Blue Hall” of the Conference Centre of the National Statistics Institute from Bucharest, at 19th May 2015, begging with 9 am.

The event is organized by “Impreuna” Agency with the support of their partners, Policy Center for Roma and Minorities and the Resource Center of Public Participation, within the project Roma Social Inclusion Network – Competences and Advocacy, financed by SEE 2009-2014 within the NGO Fund Romania – 5th Component – Capacity Development of NGOs; Networks and Coalitions. The program consist in the empowerment of local NGOs in order to develop advocacy activities at local, regional and national level, through development of their abilities and instrument in the field of writing and implementing projects and advocacy campaigns.
